Agree with you MJ, Skoda dealer quoted me ‘ lack of chips’ but doesn’t seem to affect Bentley cars ( also part of VAG) where you can have a new car tomorrow !
To be fair, if you were Mr chipmaker, you would flog your chips to wherever you get the best price, not for cheaper cars to be supplied to motability customers
Like you, I will be going back to a previous supplier, in my case Renault, in fact I would cancel and move now but again, waiting times are ridiculous. We also oredered last Nov. and currently being quoted ‘build week’ of week 36, add shipping, delivery to dealership, Pdi, probably looking at September if no further delays
