While it’s true the Sharan in dead and buried I could never work out why the Touran was taken off Motability. It’s AP was one of the best for the type of vehicle, you know the type that disabled folk can actually use, yet even with its AP price increases was still a contender for we scooter and wheelchair carrier’s.
I was told by my VW dealer 2 years ago that they (VW) had stopped making them and again when I ordered my current VW Tiguan in October 2021 that the Touran is no more and yet go to the VW configurator page and to this day its still available.
So when they say its not manufacture any more what they really mean to say its not available to Motability customers any more but a bit of elaborate way of putting us off suitable cars if I may say-so.
BTW please refrain from using the word “diesel” as they are the cause of millions of Londoners deaths every year and some find it an offensive word. ??
