I’m either thick or looking in wrong place, picking up my son on 29th May bank holiday Monday, flying in to T3 at 9.05am. Entered date and time of couple of hours and short term quote came back as £72. Think I’ll sit at South Mimms and track flight then wait for call then pay the £5 at drop off point, you can’t dodge the £5 as says the badge holder has to be on the flight not the driver. Anyone with links or advice I’d be very grateful
As per my previous post, that’s what I did. You definitely don’t need to pay for a few hours parking (which will be extortionate in short stay). Just drive in, pick up and leave immediately. The trick is not entering until you know the person you are picking up is there or will be there within minutes. Far better for them to stand and wait 10 or 15 minutes than you have to pay to park!
