So why are Motability charging an extra £2350 for the PHEV over the FHEV model, especially when Ford are charging £270 less ?

1- Ford has agreed a price on how much there willing to except from MB, which will be a lot lower than retail price.

2- MB have chosen to keep PHEV prices higher, either hoping the scheme user will convert to electric or pay a premium and MB will become richer!

I don’t know but, you can guarantee MB will benifit more than us. The government has introduced a scheme where dealers phase down on sales of ICE and hybrids over the coming years, so more are driving EV’s by 2030. Perhaps MB is pushing this?
