Its no different than saying if you tweaked your car and put a stage 1 performance tune on it your car would be as quick as one with 200bhp.
I watched a similar video by your favourite Dan when trying to find a video for you. Anyhow he had an LG G2 evo set it up missing most setting and said “its not very bright is it” No because the OLED pixel brightness was turned right down and I’m shouting why miss the basic setup. Considering he says he’s a TV installer he should be ashamed! Never the less they are OKish to watch if you don’t know and want to see HD channels.
I was considering the TCL C835 for the kitchen as cheaper than the C2, but wife not keen on TV’s in every room and need to sweet talk her lol
Where are you on the TV front currently and your thoughts?
