As most people seem to be interested in the fuel consumption, I measured it ‘brim to brim’ yesterday on the M4, filled up almost , first at Sainsburys & then topped up ‘to the brim at Membury services .
The journey was uneventful , travelling at around 74 -78 mph, mainly in cruise with the drive flitting between Standard and sport , when overtaking – auto climate control .
Quite a lot of the time the car was running in EV mode, but even when the engine cut in to charge the battery, it was unobtrusive.
Stopped at Magor Services to top up ‘to the brim’ again – so non stop Motorway only travelling – 55.4 mpg actual , 55.1 mpg recorded on screen – how close is that?
Drive to relatives birthday bash , and ignore good or bad consumption on way back , as I do most of the time , just drive to get home in reasonable time , so 210 miles total recored , 37 non motorway and therefore 173 motorway .
Overall trip 53.1 Mpg recorded – that’ll do me?
