Kezo, the teenage salesman was busy talking nonsense to a potential punter. I didn’t want to disturb them. My Panasonic is feeding a Yamaha AV Receiver, Tannoy speakers and a Canton sub in a 3.1 setup at the moment. I know MrsW would prefer something with less visual impact than floor standing speakers but I’m not going to shell out for a soundbar which I don’t see competing. I would like to think the built in speakers would be good enough for her, if not for me. I could set up the existing kit in another room, I suppose as it doubles up for music.

Yes I must admit curry’s like there verbal nosense blurb.

The Hisense will have immersive sound similar to 3.1 5.1 audio. It has all the sound codec’s such Dolby DTSX, Atmos and Nicam stereo, as well as – Dolby vision, Imax and HDR that will give immersive viewing and adjust sound if set to the content you are watching films etc.

There are 6 speakers 4x10w and 2x10w as well as a user adjustable equalizer. There will be half decent mid to high range along with bass notes that will undoubtably be far superior to your current set. I have a Technic’s amp powering Kef speakers in a similar setup to you. I can catergorically tell you it’s sound is far superior than my LG G1, partly because the speakers are smaller in a TV but, the G1 is no slouch when it comes to immersive sound and decent bass and more than capable listening to film content etc. If I turn it up past 60 apart from waking up the neighbourhood it vibrates the plastic frame on the TV like crazy. In the real world we don’t listen to our TV’s that loud and if we want to blast some Queen out we use are amps. Since having the G1 in 2021 there are no wires from amp to the TV. Our last TV was a 2 speaker stereo with tinny abmismal sound that required the use of an amp for decent sound.

I can’t remember if it was the Hisense A9G or AG9 Oled a few years ago, but, the sound was very good and amassive improvement compared to their old TV and infact better than their “all in one” stero system. Once I had adjusted the picture setting to how they liked it my parents were more than happy and wouldn’t go back LED. That’s not saying some of the mini and quantom dot LED TV’s are bad.

Another tip with Oled’s is the screen has a hard surface to it similar to a Plasma did and not a flimsy one LED’s have making them alot easier to clean.

Regarding which I think they are bias and have got many things wrong before. I prefer watching reviews or reading them from the like of Rtings who sadly haven’t reviewd it yet I dont think.
