I can’t fault the 1.2 EAT8 in my C4. Mind it is the 155 version. Would have been good in the C5 X but PSA had to discontinue it due to emissions hence why the C5 X never got it.
155 bhp would have been adequate but I’ve driven large cars with low horsepower and they’re certainly not what I would call fun.
There’s someone over on the 5008 thread, who’s had the 1.6 puretech cancelled and is receiving the 1.2 puretech as in the C5X instead. That will certainly won’t be fun to drive fully loaded!
I supose its what your prioties are and it isn’t as if the scheme is flooded with big cars/suvs, but like you say it would drive me nuts., like my current 1.6 150 Tuscon does.
