S Korean cars still out perform many European cars on the scheme as miles Kw/h goes.

I don’t see any S Korean BEV cars on the scheme now. And I don’t see them out performing either. Sorry, such a statement is not true. I think all cars are getting better, I just wish bigger BEVs were on the scheme at a more affordable AP.

What cars on the scheme at the time matched the Kona 64Kw range/cost

My point to @Fwippers was the new Kona (if it graces the scheme is irrelevant) is bigger than the out going model. As such it will do less mileage A. because its bigger B. because it uses the same battery. That is backwards with todays technology – the car is bigger thus a bigger battery should be used to wqual if not surpass the out going model. Technology has moved forwars to allow faster charging, s there no reason a bigger battery could not have been used. Imagine putting the same battery in the Tuscon!

I agree with you that bigger BEV’s should be on the scheme, but, also with a battery to give a substantial range.

I was tempted with the Kona but, upon viewing it was way to small for my needs, along with my current circumstances would warrant a better range.
