After waiting nearly 18 weeks with no build date or dealer update, I grew impatient and called around a few dealers today. I asked if they had any cancelled orders or any Sportage that they could perhaps deliver anytime soon.
All said a resounding no, which was expected to be honest.
One dealer was kind enough to talk in more detail about the current delays and asked about my order. He said i could be waiting up until early 2023 and that he has customers waiting 6-7 months with no build date. However, he did say that you could get a build date tomorrow and can expect to collect the car within approx 8 weeks after this. He also said that retail customers dont get treated any different to us MB customers, we all have to wait just as long.
So, the wait goes on! Keep posting your journey updates guys, would be great to hear other peoples experiences.
