How they deal with different types of car will be interesting. Eventually all cars will be electric but for many years there will be petrol and diesel cars, still paying major amount of tax. Not to mention plug in hybrids.
I can see them eventually splitting electric cars into groups, similar way they have done with fossil fueled cars.
