Oddly enough my Audi Q3 came up with an SOS message yesterday too. I also get ‘uploading user details’ continuously on the info screen, which means no satnav, radio or phone, and I also get various problems such as the road traffic warning signs inoperative and a message that states ‘limited visibility’, whatever that means. I took the car back to the supplying dealer this morning and was advised, ‘ probably needs a software update’. I also asked about the limited visibility, and the man advised me that my car ‘talked’ to every other Audi it passed using the onboard SIM card, and when this wasn’t working this was limited visibility. I’m asked him if he was joking, why would I want to know if this was happening, but he said it was absolutely the case. Sigh!!. Seems like VAG have problems with their tech.
