Hi fwippers I think your very well thought through analysis would come under the subset of pre delivery thinking – that’s my excuse anyway. It has been an interesting week in terms of weather – the high temperatures have made us think of cooling ways ie windows shut curtains drawn etc – the optimum time to open windows and doors for cooling breeze based on indoor and outdoor temperature – bottom line for us – I am going to have thermal blinds put up in the landing windows where we get a lot of sun – heat in or heat out – stick extra layers on in winter – live with the car for a month or two – then do the math again. Life would be so boring without something to problem solve – my family all take the proverbial – I try to explain when you can’t move much it’s a good thing

As you might have guessed I come from a career in Banking and Finance, so its a bit like 2´nd nature, however a very good friend who is a musician has a different outlook on money, which is refreshing, however, I always fall into old habits.
