I’m guessing they find it easier and perhaps cheaper to just add everything to all cars in production of perhaps. No changing the line. Ordering fewer different seats etc so get them cheaper etc
More profit cc and of course it’s worse for the owner to have things like heated seats when they won’t work so end up feeling forced to pay
The answer is of course to not buy from such companie. They may quickly get message
