if you go for a phev, make sure you buy a 13amp 3pin charger I had a 10amp and then noticed it only charged at 5mph were as the 13amp charges at 9mph so I sent the 10amp back and got a 13amp.

also I can do 70 miles in hybrid mode before the battery is depleted with a avg return of 130mpg if battery is flat in does reserve a bit so car acts like a mild hybrid and at 70mph you will get about 52mpg (which is not bad for a plugin)…

one unique feature of this that makes it stand out from other phev’s is the e-Save mode, if you select miles you want to save (there is 6, 12 and max option) if the car battery is bellow that level the combustion engine will charge the battery with regen toghether to get it to that level…

tested both having covered over 1000 miles since may 31st (first time ever I have done that under a month) at 70 mph the mph in esave max mode (so car will fully reccharge battery from engine) you get about 40ish mpg…

what a great car this is a very suprising in so many ways, especially the full blown massage you get, not this whimpy vibration stuff.

I also love the way the seat goes back when you open the door.
