Supply team probably got sick and tired of constant requests, therefore decided to streamline the system between dealer and supply. In all fairness I was bemused at the time of my Tuscon order at how apparent the lack of information the dealer and supply was, as if they were totally two different companies. Ideally in the real world one would expect to get the correct updates from the dealer it was purchased from. As it should be really ?
My dealer was telling me today that he personally has 300 orders active at the moment and just trying to stay on top of all the requests for updates was taking up most of his day. Some salesmen and dealerships are better than others even within the same group ( Arnold Clark) and manufacturer at keeping us informed. I feel sorry for folk being treated like mushrooms.
