Thanks for your thoughts Struth – it isn’t so much finding chargers – more are they occupied or out of order. yes I agree Brent choosing a car on Motability is completely different to buying or leasing outside of scheme. If I was buying it wouldn’t be an ultimate. As I have said previously, I am in the fortunate position of having a Prius phev – the 4 seater again top model – not much more than the ultimate now – at the time a good deal – the Prius phev 5 seater top spec now is 5k – consequently waiting a little longer for the ultimate is not a major inconvenience for me.
yes im told they are often ooo… or someone has plugged in and abandoned it.
interesting re the mileage, that it was cold and wet today and i had the heating on and it accounted for a third of my usage and it was only set at 20c. i still got 3.86m/kwh but well down on when you dont need heater. that equates to just under 250miles, so a big difference on say well over 300 on similar mileage on similar roads without the heater.
