Each to their own really. I’m not a fan of basic cars myself though. My first car was very basic, and have had a few basic stop gaps…but can’t imagine buying a brand new budget car. Of course, I realise someone has to on order to get them on the used market though.
Haven’t driven the latest i10 but have driven a previous generation one…interior was very cheap and uncomfortable. It wasn’t even particularly reliable or good on fuel. I think the cheap purchase price was it’s only redeeming feature.
