Free ones….? Regular (paid for) rapid charges are available 24/7. Most Ikeas have got GridServe charges which are pretty reliable in my experience and they don’t normally charge for parking. I’ve seen people charging there overnight well after the retail park has closed (I walk through the car park as a short cut)
Chargers don’t get switched off at night! If you can get your car to one, you’ll be able to charge it
If you are in London (not central london) or Birmingham then there are ESB charges that do rapid charges on the kerbside. Normally you can’t park anywhere and if you can, there’s a parking meter nearby, but using the kerbside rapids incorporates the parking fee if there is one
