For one, Cupra might not want it to be on the scheme. Much like the Formentor, which equally has “the right price”. I certainly hope it does come to the scheme, because it looks awesome (the Born) – but i wouldn’t hold my breath.
I think it’s more motability not manufacturers who doesn’t want to have sporty on the scheme.
