Hello all! As the title says I’d like to ask some advice. The motability site lists one of the cars I’m interested as £2,46 but the brochure the dealership has sent me lists the same car as £3,399. Are dealerships allowed to change the advanced payment amount even thought the site lists a completely different price?
Dealers are able to charge lower Advance Payments (some will offer up to £500 discounts) but they can’t charge more. Best to go on the prices on the Motability website. Sounds like the dealer is quoting a different model or, as Tim says, you are looking at the WPMS figure versus PIP/DLA. The former is always lower as the benefits sacrificed are greater (so the outlay is the same).
