This was one of the major negatives of this car for my son when we test drove it, he just could not get himself comfortable with those headrests during our test drive.
Annoyingly our kids liked the VW Tiguan which my wife took a dislike too as she found it a bit plasticky compared to the XC40.
The massive price hikes this quarter may have ended our interest in the XC40 anyway, but with another lockdown, we may just wait to see what happens in Q2.
