I knew that SUV’s had increased massively in popularity in recent years and having had them for many years I can see why, but I had no idea that they were up to 40% market share. I don’t think that you can conclude anything from any figures relating to 2020 though. The motor industry has been so heavily disrupted, more so than most industries, that the figures are all over the place. Also, Electric SUV’s are a bit behind electric cars in the development curve, so any distortion from that will no doubt level out over the coming years.
