Does “making our mark in the world” raise poor people from starvation? Or does it just enrich the rich? Only asking…
I’m all for technology but not when it’s only purpose is profit for shareholders. It has to have a common good too. I never us self service checkouts in supermarkets because their only purpose is to make me, the customer, do the work checkout staff are paid a wage to do. Why should I?
