I find that with most of the premium dealerships. As soon as you mention the word Motability its like dropping your trousers in the middle of the showroom. When i bought my Audi Q3 one dealership refused me a test drive which was shocking really as he was all for it until i mentioned the scheme. Keep looking though as im sure there are some good ones out there and many people on here have ordered from Mercedes, just plod on you get used to the ignorance after a while.
