I apologise deeply for incorrect post about cycle lanes in Worthing. Virtually all the double-lane roads in town centre have had one lane stopped out for cycles only. Been going on for weeks but no signs up till now so I thought is was just major road works to deal with our nasty potholes! Bloody great orange poles everywhere, no hint of priorities for motorist so you have to guess where you can go; absolute chaos. Queues of confused everywhere. AND no cyclists to be seen; they’re all out trying to cause accidents in the surrounding villages’ narrow and/or single-track lanes!
