Yes any marks and scratches that could be caused by loading and unloading equipment is absolutely fine.
It’s wear and tear.
Our bulldog is a big lad with heavy front paws so every car I’ve had always gets marks and deep scratches on the bumper top and edge.
So on our last Vw touran I bought a bumber cover made from black plastic it covers most of the top and has a lip that covers about an inch of the rear face. I think it was £10 from eBay.
when we got the Tiguan I kept it and trimmed it with a Stanley knife to fit the Tiguan and stuck it in place with 3m double sided tape.
Nearly 2 years later It still does the job and as it’s black looks like it’s factory fit.
