They don’t pay roadtax they use our free one. But it is a what it is imo.. if you want any car then maybe just maybe the scheme is not for you and you can use your Pip etc to get something else or even buy one if you can afford it. I wish i could get a supercar but i cannot afford one. I happy with the scheme for the no hassle motoring. But you are limited and i am sure as things progress things will change as we move toward the zero emissions agenda. I have grave concerns about motoring in general the way things are going alot will change as we know it. It’s already happening. The demise of the car is coming.
As for higher Ap my view is it’s a lease car and unless you intend to buy it after the lease ends then the more you spend on the ap the more you actually giving up of your own money and buying one would be more viable imo, or to get a car not on the scheme. Say for a polo gti which someone suggested. I have recently got a honda civic sport has 182 bhp and am i sad i cannot get a type R, nope i not as they don’t do it in automatic. Do i need super car preformance to be mobile no.. But look if you can afford to buy buy / lease any car you like.. If you cannot afford it then what the scheme offers is great imo.
