Wait till others like honda pull out of the eu altogether and other makers will follow, Ones that are not based in the eu. Because of all the regulations to come and fines. They’ll just pullout of the eu. I wonder how and if say vw can make cars in mexico for example and import them to europe, tariff free where as other car makers cannot do that unless they eu companies.. and thus who has the edge.
The Eu protectionism comes at the cost of choice and only the few will remain. Those that have to adapt the model to fit the regs, those who cheat and get by over and over. I am kind of glad we are leaving or have already left the eu, because of this situtaion. Once we actually fully leave. we will not be bound by eu regs and thus we will have more choices.
