“when anyone orders a car, the dealership tells motability that the car owner wants tinted tindows” and then went on to saying motability asks for reasons for tinting and can only be tinted for medical reasons at factory orders”
Utter tripe.
If you have to have a ‘medical reason’ for having tinted windows on your car, why do they offer hundreds of cars that have tinted windows as Standard, no questions asked? My first two Motab. cars had tinted rear windows because I don’t want all and sundry knowing I keep a wheelchair in the boot while I’m out by myself. Might as well put a sign on the boot saying “VULNERABLE WOMAN DRIVING”.
‘Tinted as Standard’ or ‘Tinted as an Option’ – What’s the difference? Unless it detracts from the resale value (which it definitely won’t!) – Motability don’t give a fig!
