That’s awful. I wouldn’t have been able to help myself. The dealer principal would have had an email naming the ignorance of the salesman. Sad thing is, so many of these salespeople think they are some sort of cheeky boy wheeler dealer and better than the customer.
I’ve been in sales for donkeys years in the same industry. If I treated just one of my customers like this, I’d be sacked……. and expect to be.
Keep on at it though. It only takes one good salesperson to make all the difference.
