Just an update, I’ve been along and had a look at the Tarraco, Kodiaq and 5008 in that order, mainly because in some ways I were already attracted to the Peugeot.
Anyway, having sat in all three I’ve decided on the Peugeot, with GT Line Premium trim. It has a driver ‘massage’ seat which felt as if will/ might come in handy for those longer drives, especially with my spinal pain. The boot is an automatic type, again good for me and is massive, IMO compared to the other two. To add, the seats were very, very comfortable, compared to my current car which I’ve hated ever-since 15 minutes after entering my PIN!
So I’m going to have a look around and see if I can get a deal, then I’m good to go. The salesman I spoke to did say, however, that even if the price goes down, he’ll reorder the car so to avoid paying the increase.
