Exactly what I think. It’s the extra cost that’s in question but it seems that you pay for both the original item PLUS the option item.

I’ve been told similar hogwash as well by dealers. Never have I heard of anyone saying they have too much choice for anything. Only the complete opposite in fact.
Packs may help to reduce in-house costs as production will be simplified but the only sector to gain here is the manufacture’s themselves. The public have to pay for things they don’t want just to get reading lights!
Fair play to Motability for addressing this to some degree with some Mini packs being within the AP cost.
