Since march I probably covered under 60 miles. Been working from home and banned from going out much lol. Only been out 4 times.
I have a year old Ateca 1.5d auto xcellence lux. I know that each quarter since the price has gone up. Beautiful car to drive. Full of gadgets. Mine is in white.
Thanks for the info.
In my case my cars barely do 20k in three years never mind in a year lol.
All previous cars were non-VAG cars and were serviced every year.
The dealer did say if service light or ad-blue light comes up then book an appointment.
Update. Rang motabilty. They said unless a service required warning appears on the car display it is 2 years for motabilty cars. They have a long life engine oil. This was backed up by Seat dealers.
Thanks. Will ring them up tomorrow and find out
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Agree with Markw. Love the way the Ateca drives.</p>
What a load of bull.
Can’t recall reading anything in my policy document.
Sorry to hear about your problems. I had a kadjar diesel auto for three years. Not a single problem.
Your best bet is to talk to motability.January 11, 2020 at 7:47 pm in reply to: What are the conditions at the end of a lease if you choose to buy your car? #102862
Few things to remember…
1. They want the full amount. No finance is given.
The following might change but normally..
1. Car will come without its 3rd service. You have to service it yourself.
2. Car will come with no warranty compared to buying from a garage.
What some do is they try to find where the car goes after they return it and then buy it back from the auction (cheaper price maybe) or a garage which will give a warranty and probably service the car for free.
Need to get the inner 25 engine option as my brother will be driving me around too. The car is the SEAT ATECA DIESEL ESTATE 1.6 TDI XCELLENCE LUX [EZ] 5DR DSG
What colour? White? Trust me you will never regret this choice. Full of gizmos. Delivery should be ok. Mine was ready before the lease finished.
Can’t fault the service I got from Simon. He would reply to my emails quick.
I am in a similar position. Need to be for under 25 for my offspring to drive.
Nottingham is closer but if JCT offered more then I’d go to them. Derby would offer nothing which is a shame. Is SimonField from pentagon Nottingham or JCT in Sheffield and what discount did you get Wazza? Tend
Nottingham. 250 was on offer.
In Derby so Sheffield would be closest but tried calling and their rep isn’t available. Would defo grab the Ateca if I could get £350 off. That be a bargain. Narrowed cars down to the VW T Cross and Ateca but Ateca is cheaper with more bells and whistles.
Strange thought Nottingham would be the closest. Up A52 and it’s there in Beeston.
You need to talk to Simon Field. He was my contact. Remember to either take a photocopy of the offer or email. He would want to see it.
Ateca is a nice car, T cross being newish might have longer delivery time due to demand.
If you went for ateca what engine and trim would you go for?
Beau do you have the email address for the person who offered the discount. JCT600 also sell the SEAT Areca which I’m after and wanted to know if the person can tell me if they had any offers. Pentagon in Nottingham are offering £250 off SEAT fyi.
Pentagon had this offer since Sept when I looked. Rang jct600 then and they could only maybe Knock £100 off. Which is nearest to you?November 9, 2019 at 8:59 pm in reply to: Motability Car Sales Person How Much Do They Get Paid Told Me £45 per lease #95853
My guess is to meet their quota for end of month, quarter etc where they will get a bonus from their manufacturerNovember 9, 2019 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Motability Car Sales Person How Much Do They Get Paid Told Me £45 per lease #95847
From what I have been told me a dealer it’s £400
You will find the higher spec of the model might have heated front seats.
I remember years ago the Hyundai ix35 mid spec used to come with front and rear heated seats.
Would help what type of car you are looking for. If a suv then I know for certain that the seat ateca xcellence lux has electric front seats. Mind you the seats are leather which might be colder in the winter
Thought it was as simple as going onto the motability website, select under 25 toggle and then search. Plenty of cars for under 25s if you are not a badge snob. You can filter it down to fuel, transmission etc to refine your choice.October 12, 2019 at 4:59 pm in reply to: Car numbers on scheme today: Archive 22/11/2019 – 4/2/2020 #91348
12/10/2019 cars on scheme 1990 or 1993 With VW Shuttle on //// Renault 4 off model Twingo //// Ssangyong 3 on model Tivoli //// Vauxhall 3 off model Astera 1 off Grandland X 1 off Mokia 1 off ////
Had to re-read the Renault part. Was thinking when did Renault 4 come back into production? I know they have a concept car based on Renault 4.

I assume you didn’t accept car and didn’t enter your PIN no.
As stated above contact motability. You might end up reordering. The sad news they might not have any in stock, from other forums they sell everything they make, there is no surplus.
Agree galaxy is a better handling car for those still young in heart ?
As stated the AP will also reflect the purchase price, running costs, depreciation etc. The xcellence will depreciate less than SEL.
Last quarter you had Hyundai ix20 or kia venga to choose from. Mind you they use 1.6 petrol and could be a bit thirsty.
Both Evans |Halshaw (£100 free fuel) and Pentagon (£250 cash back) are doing free offers on seat motability check and see if any near you https://www.evanshalshaw.com/motability/all-offers/ https://www.pentagon-group.co.uk/seat/motability
I thought the pentagon £250 cashback was till end of September
If you are looking for front wheel drive petrol then look at Suzuki s-cross or vitara. Both at NIL AP. They also do a part time four wheel drive
Not to sound rude but why do you need over a month to decide? You had the time before the first extension to decide what to get if you get awarded pip.
What are you looking for?
You can order near the end of Q2 or Q3 2020 price list. You have from 3 months before end of lease to order a new car.
