I take it this is the sister car to the Kia soul yet its 1200 more on the scheme and in my eyes not as nice. I really dont know why they bother adding these cars to the scheme with silly AP i would never contemplate parting with that even though im lucky enough to be able to afford it. Disgraceful really

Well done Ellie, looks fabulous especially in that colour. Crossing my fingers it stays on the scheme so i can order one in 2 months. Please keep us all updated what life is like living with it and i would really be interested in the range you get over the winter. But for now im well jealous lol.

Looking forward to hearing the results of the test drive. The boot is not an issue for me just hoping its still around in January when i can place an order and the price has not gone through the roof as it ticks all my requirement boxes and more.

Am i missing something here ? whats the difference from a T4 to a B4 apart from a letter. On paper they are the same car only the options are a little more expensive.

    Hi winston

Which Carista did you buy if you dont mind me asking. Do you still have to pay a monthly subscription to use it once you have bought the adaptor ? and whats the difference between that and the ODB11 one

    regards

    Agree with Winston.

I have tinted every car i have had on the scheme with no problems at all and one of them got hit by an idiot in a lorry one snowy December and went away to the insurers with no issues at all. i think these kind of modifications are expected and only serve to improve the look and value of the car second hand.

Had mine for 2 years now and the only thing that disappointed me was the fairy light bulb in the boot. Thanks for that Colin just ordered 2 from the bay.

Not sure why your MPg is so poor i easily get between 35 and 40 around town and a good 50 to 55 on a steady run from my 150bhp Tiguan.

    Hi Tommy

I will be sticking with the 5 seat as i have no reason for the 7. As this next car will be my last on the scheme im gonna stick some extra bits on then buy it at the end of the lease so my plan is to opt for the Rline tech with electric seats.

    Hi Wonky

MPG around town is about 38 to 40 on average and on a long run anything upto 55 to 58. Mine is the 150bhp 2 litre diesel.

Same here had problems with my 3008 right from the get go which is why i returned it after just 8 months. Woke up one morning with all the windows down on about 4 occasions. Came out of the supermarket and the wipers were going like the clappers. Entertainment screen locking up and randomly re booting at least 3 times a week and the drivers seat started to unpick its stitching on the edges for no apparent reason. I will never touch another french car ever.

I would have the Tiguan all day long. Yes the Merc may look fancier inside and i was considering the new B class but the Tiguan is an overall better car i think. Had mine 2 years now and its top of the list again for renewal this year if it stays as is with the current AP. The ACC does indeed steer itself at speeds over 40mph it aslo has traffic jam assist which will bring itself to a full stop and drive itself in traffic all you do is steer. Once i enter a motorway my feet never go anywhere near the pedals until i exit everything is controlled from the buttons on the wheel. It will complain after 20 sec or so if you take your hands off the wheel fully but i found just holding the bottom with one finger is enough to satisfy the car your holding the wheel and it will happily steer you along with no bother at all. The seats are like arm chairs as far as comfort goes its silent when cruising and i average around 54mpg at a steady 70ish on the Mway. Power is always on tap if you want it even from the 150bhp i have which was a major concern of mine going for the little 1.3 in the Merc even though the figures state 163bhp for the B200 but then again i would much prefer the torque from a diesel anyway.

I agree 100% i think its designed to slow down the order book. But personally i think the Tiguan is a better car and im not just saying that because i have one. Had mine 2 years now and another is on the cards at the end of this year unless a miracle happens and a Porsche appears on the scheme lol.

Hi Brydo, i test drove both the 150 and the 190 and went for the 150 in the end. The 190 felt a little more powerful under acceleration but i thought the gear changes were a little more snatchy, this is also pointed out in many of the VW forums. The 150 has more than enough power and will beat most cars of its size from the lights if you were that way inclined of course lol. KESSY is the keyless entry system which comes in 2 flavours the first which is around 325 extra just has keyless entry on doors and boot but the full version which i think is around 600 also has an electric boot with foot trigger which i find very useful, especially when approaching the car with bags in each hand. Main difference between Rline and SEL is design, the Rline has body coloured panels all over where the SEL has plastic panels running around the bottom of the doors and the seats are different, i didnt like the seats in the Rline plus i wanted the massage function on the seat and the panoramic opening roof of the SEL. At the time i bought mine the Rline tech was not on the scheme which now gives you the roof and the digital instrument display so i would probably go for the Rline now, but do make sure you check those seats out as i found them quite firmer in the Rline, it also comes with larger wheels so i would defo test drive one to see what the sports suspension and wheels do to the ride over the SEL. Either way you will be buying a brilliant car.

I have an SEL auto with heated front seats, none of the trims come with leather seats as standard so its an expensive upgrade if you want leather. Also correct if you opt for leather you will loose the massage function which i love, does wonders for my lower back. Best advice is ask the dealer if any are floating around ready for delivery, i got my SEL with full KESSY which also comes with foot operated electric boot and the dealer stood the cost of the extras as i was not going to spec them on a factory build. Ended up with a brand new car plus extras and i only had to wait 3 weeks.
