Did you order any options with your car? We are starting to think about ordering the scenic instead now

Yeah I was not going to be adding the heat pump, we were going to get the upgraded alloys

My local dealer told us it does not matter if you order the estate or the coupé version they are both taking 26 weeks, apparently adding extras will extend that. After seeing so many delays I’m wondering if we should not order one as we could be waiting into 2025, a shame as it’s the car we really like the car, we were not going to be ordering the heat pump but our dealership never said anything about delays to orders with them so not sure if that would make a difference

I was told different things by 2 local dealerships a few weeks back. One said upto 9 months wait and the other said they are not allowed to place an order as the ioniq 5 facelift is due this year, it wouldn’t let them order on the system.

We were told similar from Peugeot when we were looking at a car last year. All manufacturers seem to be different. For instance Renault do not charge extra for any paint choice, I recently enquired about the matte paint on the new Scenic which is £1700 they said it’s no extra cost all included in the advance payment

Just been told by my local Hyundai dealer that you can only have an ioniq 5 from stock as they are not able to order any models due to the new 25 model coming out this year

<p style=”text-align: left;”>When we did an early termination we got the pro rata refund of the AP and we got a percentage of the GCB, it was approx £50 as had not had our car too long</p>

Honda zrv sport up to £1999, personally wouldn’t recommend it we currently have one and find the safety systems to be far too intrusive, we are thinking about terminating it due to this

To be fair the salesman I was dealing with didn’t really have a clue lol. He said the red was free but blue and diamond dust white would be extra. The blue is pearl paint whilst the red is metallic but both are classed as premium paints and are the same cost as an option (£650) he didn’t really know much about the paints just said the blue and diamond white had a P next to them so he assumed they are the extra cost paints

Yes just looked on the Honda website and the blue is the same price as the red we ordered, he said “premium” paints are £300 extra but the red we ordered is classed as premium so will be interesting if he tries to charge us at the handover as we won’t be paying anything else

We ordered ours today. Still night (blue) and diamond dust white are both £300 extra so we went for the radiant red colour, was really shocked when the salesman said they can have it by next week. I phoned the dealer this morning to make a appointment to go in and he didn’t know the car had even come on the scheme, by the time we got down he had sold 2!

I’m not sure at the moment, I don’t know which colours are included with Honda and which are extra, when we got our Renault Mégane all colours were no cost but Peugeot a few weeks back said 2 were not included with the 2008 so will see. The wife likes the blue, red and black but hates the diamond dust white colour (which I like)

I can see Honda having a good quarter pricing the ZR-V very well. We are going to our local dealer tomorrow to order the sport, we have processed an early termination on our current car so can order new one now, we were about to order a Suzuki Vitara but decided to wait for the new pricing and glad we did!

Apart from the Focus, every other model is stock units only. Very poor. Hopefully other manufacturers have some good APs to start the new year!

Disappointing price list once again, we were looking at a Suzuki Vitara but our local dealer said they cannot say if it will go up or down in January as “they don’t get told until January what the prices are” ? so we are really hoping it does not go up like most of these prices seem to be

If the VW price list is anything to go by I think I may be disappointed when the new prices are announced. If you are looking for an electric car it looks like prices are falling which is great but we are having to get a petrol or hybrid and it looks like the prices might be staying the same or going up, hopefully some of the cars we have been looking at come down in price but one dealer told us all new car prices are rising and that may be the case for Motability.

Contacted BYD UK a couple of weeks ago to ask and they said they currently have no plans to add the car

We have the Renault Megané etech and it only shows 180 mile range at best in this weather once fully charged so we have to charge every day at the minute, even in good temperatures the range has never shown more than 230 mile range at 100%. The only time the car has shown 278 mile was when we collected it
