A neater install route might be straight into the loft area and across to other side. Once there it could go straight underground I think 400mm deep is guideline and it’s swa (armoured) cable so probably 10mm or 6mm cable straight to charge point no ducting is needed and buried under sand to depth of 100mm with yellow live warning tape. Ohme usually provide up to 15m

Why would you sell off the old Kona if it’s that fantastic?
Would you say the same for the old kona?
The old kona is the one being advertised on motab under 25r

An attractive looking car would be nice.
But not crap
Which one do you recommend the most?
I don’t require any adaptions.
yeah but which car is the best out of all of them
Which one do you recommend?
Same as we were told to be fair it’s just the difference between the two.
When the cars are returned they go to be checked out by a fleet solutions company and I can tell you that all the hoists etc are skipped. I know this because my son used to remove them as part of his job.
Can you extend the lease to 5 years? You could then delay the choice for now and then order if something then became available that would better suit you.
Kona MY21 this end 28,900 and average 3.1 mi/KWh
Ordered our 85 Edition on Nov 25th got a provisional build date today of week 12.
It’s the 522GW which is on sale at the moment at currys for £149.
Good news just got new build date of week 12 from week 17. 🙂
Don’t forget, if you’re having it fitted Motability do not allow hard wiring it to the cars electrics, it has to be unplugable. Motability Info page, https://news.motability.co.uk/motoring/everything-you-need-to-know-about-dashcams/ Fitting a dashcam to a Motability Scheme car? If you are a Motability Scheme customer and are considering fitting a dashcam to your Scheme car, here is what you need to know: The dashcam must be plug-in type and not hard-wired into the vehicle It must be attached in such a way as to not cause damage to the vehicle (e.g. fixed by suckers and not permanently attached to the dashboard) Any associated costs must be covered by you (including the purchase of the dashcam and any fitting/removal costs) Personally I find this stupid, a fixed connection is more reliable and adding a dashcam would slightly increase the vehicles worth on resale for them not to mention decrease their number of payouts when some accidents can be proved to be someone else’s fault.
Just clarified this with Motability as a lot of the features require hardwiring now. There reply is below :-
Good afternoon David, Good news cameras can be fitted at the application stage and be hardwired. This needs to be completed by the manufacturer before the car is handed over.
So all good think I’ll get Skoda to fit it.
I think if we did go down the route of requiring minimum spec etc we’d probably find the choice of vehicles on the scheme suddenly a lot smaller as manufacturers just wouldn’t supply models purely for Motability customers and gone are the days of vast pools of cars in the UK to pick from and all are just in time now.
The bells and whistles aren’t always necessary but there’s a vast difference in use between customers that we all need to take into consideration, some only doing 20,000 miles or less in three years and local driving and some 20,000 a year with long distances involved, it’s then a lot of the bells and whistles are handy.
As long as you’ve paid for it as an extra and it’s not part of the fabric of the car ie. Sunroof or upgraded seats etc. then you can remove it. If you pay for a spare then you don’t get gunk or pump.
From a safety point of view all the cars will go to a central point to be checked over and things like hoists removed and binned (son used to do this job) missing items will either be replaced or sold without as these 9/10 are going to auction and dealers.

When are you ordering ?
Yesterday, 85 Edition Ecosuite. Not been given a delivery date but dealer estimates 4-5 months
Great news! Enjoy it ?
? Just hoping the dealer puts it in the Skoda system asap, got a feeling it will be coming off soon.
Ordered ours on Nov 25th and had an estimated build date of week 17 just before Christmas.
I have 622gw brilliant camera Nextbase have got some new models out too so do look at those too. Haven’t fitted to an Enyaq yet as it’s not here till March April but had it in the MG and worked perfectly
Cheers looked at the new iQ models but the subscription made it quite expensive. Heard there were problems using the wired rear camera as it interferes with DAB?
Hi done this for the last 12 years. You can remove the spare and everything that comes with it and you do not have to provide a replacement solution. Check with Motability but unless it’s changed you should be hunky dory.
