So I should just be free to stick on the new plates now, and the updates will all complete themselves in the background?

I’m lucky to live in a town with a Costco. Being self employed, I can enjoy the cheaper fuel. I’ve had my QQ since mid April, so it’ll be 1 this April.
My current computer MPG is 44.6, with more use of the heating systems in winter. I meant to reset it back to zero on 1st of January, but forgot to. I’ll do that tomorrow. It’s much better on MPG in the warmer Spring, Summer and Autumn months.
I enjoy the many different driving modes, and the instant power, out of junctions.
I’ve had no problems with it so far. It’s just a lovely relaxing and effortless drive.

I’ve never seen any menu option for left/right hand drive, feel free to correct me if i’m wrong.
Check the menu, by touching the cog on the home screen.

I can’t wait to see what MPG I can make it do. I managed to get around 60 mpg in the 1.5 dci QQ, and 70 mpg once. I’ll be trying to see what I get with the same journey and speeds.

They have set a 2030 target, on the switch to its use. All the major fuel companies are developing such fuel, as to meet the F1’s target.
With Merc, Ferrari, Renault, Audi, Honda and Ford in colab with Redbull manufacturing ICE for it. Maybe, the big German manufacturers will use the tech and adopt its use for their consumer vehicles.

Oh, didn’t know.
No I’ve not had a build week. Just emails to say, “it’s not showing built as yet. Will let you know when it has left the factory and gets to the port.”.

Who?

It seems that some have got theirs on the ID.3 forums with order dates and numbers after mine.
While I’m happy for them, I can’t accept any BS excuses from VW. They’re just becoming a joke, and it’s the last time I’ll be using VAG.

I’m happy that you finally got yours, and can finally enjoy it.

Time to stop the negativity and bating. I am hopeful of seeing my Max next month, adapted and ready to drive.
It’s strange how VAG are not building ID.3’s in date or order number order.
There’s people getting Tour’s who ordered later than some of those who are still awaiting build dates.Who knows how VAG decide on which orders to fulfil.

Then you won’t get the value of the ‘sky pack’ as an optional extra. You will only get the difference between the two AP’s. That’s if you already paid the AP.
I know Nissan list their vehicles individually, like (just for example purposes);
1. Nissan Ariya Advance £7500
2. Nissan Ariya Advance (with sky pack) £7750
3. Nissan Ariya Advance (with BOSE pack) £8250
4. Nissan Ariya Advance (with sky pack and BOSE pack) £8500So it sound like you ordered vehicle #2, and the dealership ordered vehicle #1 by accident.
So they would give you a refund for the difference between what you paid and what you got. Based on the price list at time of order. As a side note, I always check the order paperwork I get back from the dealer. It should detail what the dealer actually ordered via the system.

Power Stashions do not generate pollution of course – sorry about the spelling my tongue is firmly caught in my cheek! The only , theoretical, difference between the traditional EV and the ePower, is the way the battery is charged, otherwise , in every respect, the ePower is an EV , and if these super duper ‘million ‘ hour batteries become viable, no doubt they will be scaled down and could be available for ePower vehicles?
I guess everybody gets confused by the petrol engine and an exhaust system. It’s just EV’s move the exhaust system to the power stations. We had to start up a coal powered station recently to keep up with demand.
Maybe, ePower might become a main player, if the battery has slightly more capacity. Also, if the move in F1 to fully carbon neutral synthetic fuel proves successful.

I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.You could argue that the Qashqai ePower is an EV.
It’s driven by a pure electric power train, with no mechanical linkage to the engine.
The engine only serves as a generator for electrical energy.
The only difference between an EV and ePower is that the EV fills it’s battery from the power grid, via a socket. How that power is generated is irrelevant, as it could be fossil fuel or renewable. The ePower generates it’s electric on board via a portable petrol generator.
Otherwise, they are both driven by electric motors and nothing else.

I think the ePedal only comes on Nissan vehicles with a pure electric drive train, like the Leaf, Ayria, ePower etc. I don’t ever think it came on anything that had a mechanical drive train.

As far as I’m aware, the Juke is a proper hybrid, with both an electric and mechanical power train and gearbox.
It’s completely different to the ePower system. So I’m assuming MPG will be different.

Yes it does, it also has a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, driver electric seat, HUD (Heads Up Display), electric tailgate and 90° opening rear doors.

I like the look of it is it electric up to around 35 mph ?
ePower is a complete electric drive system, electric motors connected to the front wheel. The 1.5 petrol engine is a specialised tuned/mapped engine that is just a portable generator. It will power up and down as needed, to generate electrical energy to drive the motors, to both drive the motors and charge the battery, or just simply to charge the battery.
The drive motors can be powered direct from the battery, or the inverter direct from the petrol generator.

I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.I’ve ordered a QQ tekna ePower.
I previously had a J14 QQ in 2017, before the new model arrived. I never had a problem with the audio setup.
I was temped to add the BOSE speaker pack at £590. I’ve seen a few youtube videos that called it just above average at best. It was too front heavy and the sub woofer was muffled way back in the boot.
So I didn’t bother, as I was used to the old QQ audio, and didn’t want to chance a slightly better audio for the extra.
Just looking forward to the smooth electric drive train, HUD, electric tailgate and rear doors that open 90°
It should arrive in April sometime.
