You can still make multi-selections, you just need to click the boxes very quickly. But yes, it shouldn’t be like that.
The Austral is sim-labelled anyway. It’s ‘C’ segment. Large SUVs – Kodiaq, 5008, Tiggo 8 etc – are ‘D’.
The whole search system is glitchy as heck.

Yikes! Easy with the shouting.
I always use the brake pedal, for extra control. Although it has to be said that the emergency braking system in my car once responded fractionally quicker than I did, and the brake pedal was already depressed when I got to it. Even when the car is slowing itself ‘cos I’m decelerating e.g. for a junction, my foot is hovering over the pedal to apply more pressure when it’s needed.
The question was whether the lights come on, nobody mentioned relying on the system for normal braking.

The luggage area of the Tiggo 8 is a little smaller than the Kodiaq at 540 litres. The rest of the car is very well equipped and very spacious IMO.

We are not due to change until March 2027 and we’re worried. With rising APs (and VAT to be added to them), we may be better off leasing privately now our finances have improved to the point where this might be possible.
We need a larger car than our current one as my wife’s chair has changed – we have to have both back seats permanently down now. Something Skoda Kodiaq/Subaru Forester size. Wondering whether to try and get out of current car due to change in circumstances, or ride it out until March ’27.
We are both disabled, and need the ‘luxury’ of heated seats, 360 cameras, powered seats etc to be able to drive. These all make the AP high.
Whatever happens, we fear the scheme has been irrevocably damaged by these changes.
