Hey Cheerio can you remember where you seen or whereabouts the garages were? I’m not in a rush to change so seriously thinking about reordering. Moneys better in my pocket than Renaults or Motability
Renault/Dacia St Albans.
Ask for grant Fitzgerald hes the guy doing the offer
If it bothers you that much id just cancel and reorder or id see if theres dealers elsewhere with cars instock ive seen dealers on facebook also offering an extra £100 off and electric Renault if theyre close enough for you to travel to
I can’t see them increasing them to be honest motability already get the cars heavily discounted which shouldn’t affect them especially when they just send cars to auction anyway so they never get the real value back for cars anyway and a lot of manufacturers are looking to get ride of there evs thats why theres really good deals on them saw a deal on the honda eny1 for 250 deposit and then 250 a month which is a steal and im sure people found it cheaper then that
Would be happy to just see some aps drop as we’re due to order now so fingers crossed something we want drops in price
Hopefully it’s just them bringing the premium trim to the scheme but I’ve not seen anyone mentioning smart much on any of the groups im in so I don’t know if they’ve had a load of orders and they just removed it as when I went in to enquire he was telling me 2-3 weeks for delivery on any colour
Seems smart have been removed today hopefully its just an error and they come back on
im sure the megane came on the scheme with an ap of £4500 for the techno then dropped to 1500 for the techno next quarter and then they added the iconic for £1350 a few weeks later as I ordered the techno originally the car arrived early at the dealership but I cancelled to get the cheaper iconic so it could drop but like you say may be q3 or q4
Yeah i think it will drop come april im gonna wait it out seems to best thing to do atm
I went and test drove the #1 really liked it but the pro+ trim really isnt as nice as premium i asked delivery times and told me 2-4 weeks for delivery so decided ill wait till april in case the premium is put on
Great car for 0 ap but man can’t believe they didnt bring the#1 premium model to the scheme since it only cost 3000 more then the pro+ you lose quite alot in my opinion would have paid the £1500 arnold clark originally posted it for my partner was going to order it but she’s decided to wait to see if they bring it to the scheme hopefully in april

February 5, 2024 at 8:44 am in reply to: Smart #1 or new Renault 5 – will they join Motability any time soon? #257429The #1 was supposed to come on the scheme arnold clark have it on there motability section with the pro+ at 0 ap and the premium at £1500 ap but they have since taken done the premium and only the pro+ is available i did email smart about it coming to the scheme apparently it is coming they just didnt know when id assume maybe q2
Test drove the atto 3 nice car with a nice ride i just found that the seats had very little lumbar support compared to what i like was on my short list though the dealership experience was good this was the byd Birmingham branch they had a atto 3 the seal and a dolphin all open and available to sit in and i test drove the car the same day didnt need to book as it was available they asked me how long i wanted as i i could have it as long as i needed overall great experience honestly think id like the seal u to come available once it releases over here
It seems the uk is only getting the 220bhp motor as its the only one available to spec up on the configurator but if it is i can see them basing the price off the ariya
That’s good news hopefully it won’t be to far off the same price as the megane but I see it being more in line with the austral but fingers crossed

December 22, 2023 at 11:50 am in reply to: What would you like to see on 1st Jan / New Quarter #252045A vauxhall dealer on the Facebook group has said the price of EVs has come down and the price of petrols have risen slightly so if you have any interest in them might be worth letting an order in if you’re waiting for q1
December 16, 2023 at 2:58 am in reply to: My 1600 miles later thoughts on Megan E Tec Iconic #251602I love my megane e tech currently at 2666 miles since july costing a whopping £66 and it is honestly the best handling ev i drove and i test drove pretty much all the main evs on the scheme before i ordered it and it handles pot hole and speed bumps amazingly for 20 inch wheels everything else i drove you pretty much felt everything the ioniq 5 was my second best i drove and the car i nearly ordered
@kezo I don’t know the technical details of it all but can honestly say my range has not improved with mine ? but it’s still cheaper then my 2.0 diesel Tiguan and honestly if possible wouldn’t go back to an ice car over a electric sure I read heat pumps only really make a 10% difference so not a huge miss not having one
I have a megane e tech with the heat pump and honestly it isn’t really making that much of a difference in this cold weather
They finally added the honda e:ny1
True according to the dealer and someone else you can actually order them but might be another smart #1 situation
