Always read between the lines imo

This story is orchestrated by Gov/Press Editors and this is just one of many stepping stones yet to be laid

      Its aim is simple

      To divide

This is just the honeymoon wait until the Govs/newspapers marriage is in full swing again ( remember the failed Austerity drive )

Its main intention imo and long term goals is to have PIP means tested

          I’m going on Sunday

Ask them to show you the reversing camera it has lots of different viewing angles also make sure the seat is set low enough before getting in

The seat height adjusment is quite good as is the digital rear view mirror

Remember zero extra for colour/2 tone choice

Maybe you could ask about present delivery times on factory orders and update the rest of us

          Appreciated

I’ve just had my drive in the Megane, and it wa sa lot better than expected. Firsts time driving an EV and it was very good. Easy to get used to one pedal driving, no lag like ICE at all, they just go…that is unusual. Very quick car. ingess\egress is surprisingly good. I use side mirris and never the rear view mirror so didnt notice how small it is. It’s handling is very sharp and very good over speed bumps. I couldnt fault it. Yes you are not sitting as high as my 2008, but I would get used to that very quickly. My Pug 2008 is 3 only years old, and the Etech Megane is light years ahead of it.

Mine is on the way although I have not test driven one I have heard good things

              Just to Note

PAYG elec meters are now not allowed to be any dearer than paying by direct debit

My providers rates are better than some

And  so no DD overcharging for me

I was able to top up my meter by £500 at the lower rate before the big increases so it would help and soften the impact

Electric car arriving soon which will only cover 6500 mile a yr

So at this point off peak tariff/smart meter not yet warranted/needed

But never say never as I am aware that I will be forced to have a so called smart meter at some point in the future

                To add

                Not the car for me

To big and far too expensive

But may well suit those that are better off and looking for something bigger

I hope the AP will drop when/how much nobody knows.

Thats if it even stays on the scheme

At least for now its a choice albeit for the few

We aren’t due to change until next year, but if we stay with Motability (and it’s a big ‘if’) then this is top of my list at present. The biggest problem will be that with the sacrificed benefits and high AP, the outlay over 3 years is enormous and I might be able to do better on the private market.

Keep the car for 5yrs and the AP becomes more attractive

Fingers crossed nexy year it could be cheaper who knows

Would my local Renault dealer just 5 miles away let me go out on my own in the Megan e tec techno for a test drive ? My local Toyota dealer let me test drive for 2 hours on my own present car

Maybe best to give them a ring as cant see why not

MFillingham sorry I may not have been clear in my post. The 321 miles is the total amount of miles I have done after TWO charges from 20% to 80% not one. I pretty much agree with everything you’ve said. Poor planning and research on my part definitely. And what you said about people taking cars because “wow that’s a 50k car that I’d never be able to afford privately” is spot on in my case if I’m being honest. You know the saying a fool and his money… just have to put it down as a learning going forward and not make the same mistake again

Hope you are able to change the car for another

Act quick as see no reason from my own experience why you should not get back 2/3 of your original Pro Rata AP

With a reasonable reason motorbility will do this

Nissan AP prices are a joke imo as they have no relevance to what is being offered imo

The N connecta Q1 was around about £1500 or so

                                      Good/fair deal

                                      then

Q2 Saw it jump £800 or so

£300 of that added because the glass roof was no longer a choice as you now have to have it like it or not ( its not even a sunroof)

                                      Q3 £3199 lol

                                      Nice car but come on

Its not even full electric its not even a full hybrid

                                      its a Petrol-electric hybrid

Thats fine but needs pricing accordingly

Competition will dicate a lower AP

My guess that will happen as soon as next Quarter and we may possibly see some further dealer insentives before that

                                          Not at all surprised

I expected this big VW EV sales kick back after their honeymoon of churning out poor quality products that are ( I hear) not worth the money

Poor quality materials and iffy software make a poor marriage imo

Seems they need a BIG plan B if they are to survive the competition

The huge past compensation sums paid out from their subsequent profits may well be dictating their future paths
