I always use a Stopcock and a Faraday pouch.

Didn’t know turning off the water stopped the car from starting. 🤣🤣

A friend ordered a grandland 13/12/23 told 4 months maximum be here around 16th 17th march. Has now been told it will be here in April, now changed to May then confirmed date of 15th June and yesterday told won’t be here until the end of July. If it arrives that will be 8 months, it still says on their website 4 months delivery time. They are a joke.

You do know that the speed camera vans also use Waze, and as soon as the alert comes up on their phones they just hit not there.

Most mobile Locksmiths’s should be able to provide you with a new key. Cost around £120.00 programmed to the car.

The electronic handbrake on all cars automatically releases when you drive off, as long as you have your seatbelt on. If you apply it while driving it automatically releases, as long as you have your seatbelt on.

If you’re already on the Scheme and have not had your New Vehicle Payment yet, you’ll get it whenever you get your next vehicle.

this is the bit that I understand to have meant as long as you order before the end of December 23 and you are going to receive your car in 2024.

I am only talking about the new vehicle payment £750. I thought an existing customer had to order their new car before the end of 2023. And it was only new customers would get the £750 new vehicle payment if they ordered a car before the end of 2024.

I thought if you were already a customer you got the £750 payment if you ordered before the last day of 2023. And it was only new customers would get the £750 payment if they ordered 1/1/24 onwards. Could be wrong.

The person I went with to order a grandland on the 27/12/23 the dealer phoned yesterday to say it will be ready for collection on the 14/3/24 that’s just around 2.5 months. That’s of course if it does arrive ok.

Is the Vauxhall grandland not the same car with all the spec as it is a new model. A new model 3008 is coming out this year.

Just shows how well we are doing over here with electric cars. None of them seem to have any interest in them.

Fusion heating services has recently been bought over by SSE Airtricity. Fusion are a very large company based on the ballygowan road just up from roselawn, they did do a lot of work for NIHE and Choice housing. Obviously SSE thought they would be a good company to purchase.

Did it come with the tyre inflator? Because the new specs say it doesn’t.

it did come with inflation kit,

I asked about the spare wheel because the way it was worded it looked as if you were getting a spare wheel and tyre for £20.00. But it was actually spare wheel and tyre preparation, which meant they took the inflation kit and the bit that holds the inflation kit out to leave you the space for a spare wheel.

I was with someone last week when they ordered the grandland ultimate. Delivery time is 4 months. They had just received 8 Grandlands that day, all were due to go out thu, fri and Saturday. The girl said everything was as ordered on everything nothing missing. 2 different Vauxhall garages had quoted the girl I went with 4 months for delivery.

I think anyone caught drink driving should have there car taken from them, and banned for 10 years. Far to many think it is ok to do this, don’t care who owns the car they will soon learn not to do it again.

Someone can get caught tonight arrested, then out driving tomorrow again, appear in court about march time banned for 12 months. Do a course and back behind the wheel in 9 months.

I don’t understand how the police can say they seen you on your mobile phone, what proof have they provided. If you were driving and they were driving why did they not stop you.

I don’t think they can just say I seen him/her on there phone without evidence of this. I would be asking for the proof and the evidence of the offence, before doing anything.
