I am confused now: what’s the difference between ID.5 which is Coupe and enyaq Coupe?
Yep same car but the Coupe bit probably got the Enyaq taken off, be my guess.
Ordered EV March, ohme wanted to fit charger April, I told them why the rush don’t get car until September. EV charger currently on hold until I ask Ohme to fit it.
That is not a good move. If your installation of the charge point is non standard, you could have an ev but have to use public charging until the home charger can be fitted The fitting of my charger took 4 months.
Granny charger worst scenario….
Yup that would work if you do 29 miles/week.
Phew! only 28 miles a week!
I’m cutting in fine,.
Thanks for the granny charger range 👍

I wonder what would happen if you ordered an EV, MB put the free electric charger in, then you decide to cancel EV order and order a PHEV instead? I couldn’t see them taking charger back out or would they?
The charger gets installed after you take delivery of the car. At least that’s how it was for us.

Roy, have you ever considered the Nissan Qashqai e-Power, drives like an EV but without the need to charge. Engine never drives the wheels always the electric Battery which is charged by the engine, giving an EV sense of driving.
It’s kind of a stepping stone to going full EV, I’ve got the e-Power and having tasted the EV feel of it I’m going full EV now!

40k max spend, Chinese manufacturers must be rubbing there hands together if true.
The 85 Sportline is now £6549 was 5k Q1, that’s the same AP the 85x Sportline Maxx was in Q1.
So a £1549 increase in AP and you don’t get 2 grands worth of Maxx pack or 4×4 in Q2.
Im not 100% but wasn’t the SEL £749 in Q1 now it’s £1999?
I only use the Enyaq 85x as an example as increasing AP as it’s the car I’ve watched and ordered.
Maybe it’s just a Skoda thing adding 1k+ to AP, let’s hope so!
If the Skoda Enyaq 85x sportline Maxx is anything to go by AP’s going up!
Last quarter it was £6500, then it was removed start of this quarter, returned to scheme in the last week @ £7749!

The RAC app is worth downloading.
We went to the motability shows attge NEC, after looking at the cars available, Chinese, European etc I think I’m jyst going to get another Enyaq Sportline, unless something changes in Q4 this year my ordering quarter
I hope the current price comes down for you mate by Q4, £6549 at the mo plus VAT in Q4 is a big wedge of money.
Cheers mate, 5 weeks before I ordered mine, hopefully confident I’ll get the 27 spec as it goes into production 25th of this month.
Just tried that Intelligent Octopus rate checker.
Came out Day rate 31.02kwh, I’m currently paying 21.45kwh with Octopus.
Standing charge 57.05 a day, I’m currently paying 52.04 a day with Octopus.
Haven’t got the Elec car yet (Enyaq 85x sportline Maxx) but looking at these figures I’d be better staying on my current rate! Family of four and I only do around 6k miles PA.
I’m guessing I’d only need to charge once every 3 to 4 weeks to 80% costing around £14. I put £40 petrol in a month so I’d save. (Hopefully my calculations are fairly accurate?)
thanx where is ceo email pls as i havnt a clue
MB Have put a stop to it, but if you have major adaptions done they may consider extending lease.

Enyaq 85x sportline Maxx no longer on MB.
Had to check as I’ve ordered one!
They’ve also dropped the
85x Sportline 4×4, 85 Sportline Maxx

Skoda saying if you get a build week before week 21 it will not be the updated model.
Even though VAT only applies on cars handed over after July Motability price fix APs at the point of an application. Since Motabilty don’t know which cars will be handed over they may have decided to increase all AP from 1st April to ensure they are not covering a large VAT bill Or to put it another way, it’s more likely a large increase this time, and very little in July.
Surely you mean all orders after July will be subject to VAT, any orders prior to this date are non VAT payable by customer?
But none of the new changes affect you’re current lease, so why not wait 2 years then leave?
Apologies you answered before I posted!

Exellent choice! I’m playing the waiting game now for mine.
Ordered mine, meteor grey, ‘sportline auto maxx’ Told that their system says 22 weeks till build and 5 weeks delivery, so 27 weeks total. Which I’m totally fine with cos (a) more value from current car and (b) it ‘should’ theoretically get the upgrades, but I will keep an eye on it.
Order the same car as you was told 19wks, 2wks ago, when did you order?
