      1) Zulu (1964) starring Michael Caine, Stanley Baker, and Jack Hawkins.

      2) The African Queen (1951) starring Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.

      3) Last of the Mohicans (1992) starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeleine Stowe.

      4) LOTR Fellowship of the Rings (2001) starring Elija Wood and Ian McKellen.

      5) The Pianist (2002) starring Adrien Brody and Thomas Kretschmann and Frank Finlay.

          Great list! two of your choices are also in my top 10 movie list.

          For a so-called movie buff i must admit that i’ve never even heard of another of your choices namely ‘Red Sparrow’. Me and the wife now know what we will be watching tonight though so cheers for that buddy!

                    Grave of the Fireflies is an animation set around Hiroshima following the dropping of the atomic bomb.  Can be a difficult watch but it’s beautifully done.
