    Seems a good idea. Although it’s only going to add to the queues to get on a charging point (assuming it uses the same type of electricity as cars). Wonder what it sounds like? Won’t be as heart-stopping as a Merlin full out!

    I have no idea of how many planes of this size there are or how many journeys they make but once we have an electric plane that can fly 200 people to Spain then we will be well down the road of removing aeroplanes from the worlds list of top polluters.

    Wigwam the way battery tech is going I fully expect to have one within the next ten to fifteen years.

    Even if you develop the battery technology Brydo there is no electric motor technology light enough and powerful enough to do the job.
