Kezo I have an old Sony BDP360S Blu-ray player it was an award winner years ago will it play a Blu-ray Disc which is region free ?

Hi Mike, your Sony will be region “B” (Europe, Austrailia, New Zealand Africa and think includes Middle East). However, it is highly likely, it will be possible to make it region free by using an all in one remote and hacking in a few button presses, but and its a big but, I have a niggling thought, it will only make it region free for DVD’s not blu ray.

There are alternative methods to achieve making it region free through firmware updates or hardware modifications

Many thanks Kezo you have saved me £40 chap selling a disc on eBay I will wait till it’s on Netflix again I missed it when on before says currently not available in U.K.

How much is it on DVD – I doubt you will see much difference on your TV

Kezo it’s the Mary  millington documentary called respectable it’s currently not  available to see on Netflix or rent from amazon prime ! It’s around £20 on dvd on eBay

Many thanks Kezo I have an offer on the above for £17 I’m thinking what to do? My old dvd player and tv are ready for the tip ! Would a Blu-ray Disc look fab on an Oled tv ? Have you got a Blu-ray player ? If I had an Oled tv can I buy a region free blue ray player ?
