Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

Bright, crisp and clear. 9C at 7.30am. Forecast 14C max. Light winds. Another gardening day – neighbours’ lawns and repairs to crumbling window boxes.
The final day of this fantastic weather. I will be sad to see it go but it was great while it lasted.
10*C, forecast to rise to 17*C, clear sky and no wind.
Solar system up and running if only generating a modest 1Kw.

Getting a bit hazy overhead now but the sun pops out every now and then.
Im not complaining as I’m out the back garden working on the decking. Waiting on some timber coming on Wednesday to finish it off. They were out of stock for the first delivery and the guy in the timber merchant said they are so busy with the good weather that they can’t keep up with demand.

Previously at Pisa etc and was a nice 20-23c with a slight breeze.
Barcelona tomorrow then Valencia Monday. Back to Palma on Tuesday and off to Alcudia for lunch at a very nice chippy ran by a Welsh chap called Lloyd 🙂
Then back on board for week 2 of the cruise. Ship is OK, Marella Explorer 2, food is pretty average, about the same as we had on their Discovery 2 at Xmas.
I have a week booked again for next April with my daughter but will start looking at alternative cruise lines when I get home.

Phaedra I’m going to be phoning you for some financial advice. You’re saying this is your second cruise this year 💵. I’ve never been on a cruise, the wife hates the water, but if the foods just ok I would certainly be looking for alternatives.

Serviced me mower yesterday (Honda petrol). Thanks to Honda engineers for making a potentially complex, difficult job into a dead simple process. Everything fitted/worked/was easy to do.

@Tharg got a 4 stroke Stiga 140cc OHV mower, that needs the carb and fuel lines cleaning, because some idiot forgot to drain E10 fuel last season!A nice sunny day but at 14C feels cooler due to the breeze.

I am hoping (and praying) we get the forecast 30mm of steady rain all day tomorrow and Wednesday/Thursday. It is desperately needed.
Still, I could do with it staying dry today – my first day off in over 3 weeks (so much for semi-retirement)!.
Plus, I don’t need the going changing from ‘Good’ at Pontefract this afternoon, as it is ideal for the new 2yr old’s first run. Plus it is not too pleasant being there when it rains (been there, done that, got soaked by horizontal rain)!
