      Woke up to an almost flat tyre, Wife booked appointment for 9.30am at 8.15am same morning, I arrived 45 mins early, 6 mile drive to kwik fit, two new rear tyres needed, authorised, I’m back home 10.03 am same morning, Thanks motability, Thanks Kwik Fit, oh yeah Thanks to the Wife 👍👍😁

        I suppose its down to the local depot staff in how they respond to MB customers, I have 2 Kwik-Fits 2 miles away in opposite directions from one another and one is good and one is pants.

            Has anyone used them for MOT – if so how long does it take – I struggle with most seating areas because they are too low.

                  I swop current car for next one at the end of July so will need to have an MOT next month – will check out my local branch before booking – if necessary I will take my own fold up chair – won’t be the first time 😂

                    @Tillyman got my Superb MOT’d at KF in 2022, which took 40 minutes compared to over an hour at the dealer, plus travelling. Just let Motability know you want it done at KF.

                      Hi kezo

                      I have an account online through the Motability app – they messaged me to say I can use Kwik fit about a month ago – so I can book online through link.

                      When I have servicing they come and collect car  and bring it back – so in the past it’s never been an issue – will check out my local kwik fit and if necessary take a chair – thanks for the feedback

                        Good to know about the MOT. My local Volvo dealership closed quite a while ago. But still had a service centre very local to me. They closed their doors at the beginning of February and are now subject to a winding up order. So now the nearest dealer is 15 or 20 miles away. So I guess for MOT when it’s due in 2028 I’ll ask to have it done at KF.

                            Coincidence or what

                            Motor group have just phoned to say I need an MOT and have booked a collect and return for July – folding chair no longer required – but I thought it worth mentioning that this service is available for others who find sitting and waiting difficult.
