May 2023 = 7 Days from day of deciding to move to Motability to picking up the car. Audi A3 S Line, but was pretty flexible with what car we had and not bothered about colour or any extras and no adaptions required.

I went to a Skoda dealer on Saturday, test drove the car that I wanted, they found one of the colour and spec with another dealer, got it from them, on Wednesday they pick up my folding powerchair and my hoist for it is being fitted on Thursday next week, and they’re picking me up to collect the car the next day. 13 days in total.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Yes sorry GG, a week obviously!

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Kezo – the driver assistance pack is £1100 and the Mazda Diamondbrite equivalent £350 – so figures correct my friend.
September 20, 2023 at 9:41 am #234090<p style=”text-align: left;”>Yes sorry GG, a week obviously!
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Kezo – the driver assistance pack is £1100 and the Mazda Diamondbrite equivalent £350 – so figures correct my friend.

Hi, I realised that mate after I re-read you post earlier.
Its a lovely car, so hope you find it suitable. Just a shame about the seats for us 🙂

And I’d forgotten about the £750 and whatever the good condition bonus comes out at!!! Happy days – taking delivery 29 September and they’ll fit the tow bar the following week.

The Wife loved the look of the MX-30 in the showroom and might have to consider using her DLA now that the Daughter’s Fiat 500 has gone in PX.
Fiat is much maligned but we bought it 9 years ago, prior to her brain injury, for £6500 and it depreciated only £3500 in those trouble free years. Easily the most dependable car I’ve ever had given the lack of care on our part. Even had a dead mouse in the air filter after one period of inactivity lol. Never once did it let me down.

Ordered a Skoda Karoq SE L automatic a few weeks back and was told the waiting time would be around 8 months. Not in a rush for it so I don’t mind such a wait.

How long is the waiting time for my Vauxhall Mokka
November 10, 2023 at 11:02 am #242823@Christine McLean
If the Vauxhall website is to be believed, they are currently showing the Mokka available as soon as January.

Seat Ateca ordered told coming mid September…..then told at the end of September…the car is being built.
Mid October phoned if they have any Idea of a delivery date.
Car is at the docks in Europe somewhere waiting to get put on a boat.
Phoned on Friday…car is still at the port!!!!!
Wife went nuts and asked if no VW group car was put on a boat for the UK in that time?
Yes…plenty have…but not ours!!! Will get on the phone to mobility on Monday as dealership said “what do you want us to do”??? Well…finding out why our car is gathering dust…..could have driven the thing on a car transporter by now!!!!
