We are so glad we cancelled our order.

I guess this is what happens when an established premium brand puts their badge on a cheaply built Chinese vehicle

hopefully other brands will think twice about these partnerships

I haven’t heard much in the way of negatives when it comes to the smart#1 which is incredibly similar to the ex30, same underpinnings etc. Wonder if it was volvos part of the setup which has caused the issues.

EX30, Smart #1 and Zweekr X (not available here) are all the same car built in the same factory but, not heard of any issue’s with the other two.

As for prtnerships, there more common than we think .

Mercedes (Smart) partnershop with Volvo owners Geely.

BMW partnership with Brilliance. iX3 made in China and shipped to europe.

VW joint adventures in China, will build and ship the Cupra Taviscon to europe.

Renault partnership with Geely and S Korea.

The list goes on!

Like you, so glad I cancelled my Volvo order too after a 7 month nightmare. Utter joke of a company now! 👎👎
